Henry Robert Cockrell, born Oct. 1, 1826 died Sept. 3, 1883,in Freestone, Fairfield, Texas. Henry was brother of Goin A. Cockrell and Aquilla Winstead Cockrell Williams. Many of his siblings followed him to Texas. Henry is husband of Eliza/Elizabeth Ellender Strickland. Their last child, and only girl, was Ophelia. 

ONE of the girls below is Ophelia Ann Cockrell, his daughter;  the other is Elizabeth Powell.
MANY in this Cockrell family moved to Freestone, Texas.
